ROBO-ONE is Japan’s long-running small humanoid combat competition. It is historically central to the category but physically distinct from today’s full-size humanoid leagues.

ROBO-ONE began in 2002 and has sustained recurring numbered competitions, including autonomous and class-specific formats.
The official basic rules use three downs, a ten-second stand-up count, one timeout per team after a slip, two-down aerial throws and sudden death on a tie.
The official event archive publishes numbered competitions, schedules and results. The 45th event is scheduled for 26–27 September 2026.
History, basic rules and 45th-event schedule are official-source backed. Project H still needs a structured participant roster and per-bout archive.
