Independent deskEditorial and sourcing policy

An index of robot combat,
with its sources attached.

Project H documents competitive robot fighting as a field: the leagues that run it, the events they hold, the machines that enter and the rules they publish. Humanoid competition and classic wheeled combat are indexed side by side, because builders, broadcasters and audiences already move between them.

IndependenceNo competition pays to be listedand none can ask to be removed from the record.

What the desk coversScope

The whole field,
not one format.

Robot combat is not a single scene. Autonomous humanoid leagues, teleoperated humanoid properties, classic wheeled combat and university research competitions each publish different records, use different weight classes and answer to different rulebooks. Project H keeps them in one index with their differences intact — a knock-out bracket is never presented as a league table, and an exhibition result never becomes a season standing.

Method01

One fact, one source

Every published number is an atomic claim with the URL it came from, the date it was retrieved and a status: confirmed, contested, unverified or refuted. Aggregates are never presented as facts.

01
Method02

Conflicts stay visible

When two sources disagree — a league claiming 320 million views against a broadcaster reporting 11 million — both are recorded and the contradiction is published rather than averaged away.

02
Method03

Absence is a state

A missing round scorecard, an unannounced venue or an unpublished roster is displayed as unavailable. Nothing is reconstructed from highlight footage or inferred from a month window.

03
Method04

Corrections are public

Changes to any published record are listed with their date and reason. A correction is a normal event on a fast-moving field, not an embarrassment to hide.

04

What this is notBoundaries

Sending you to the right tool is more useful than pretending to be it.

Not a tournament registry

Entries, brackets and event registration live on Robot Combat Events and The Builders Database. If you are looking to enter a robot, start there — this desk does not take entries.

Robot Combat Events ↗

Not a rulemaker

Weight-class definitions and safety procedure for classic combat are maintained by SPARC. Project H records what each league publishes and where it diverges; it does not standardise anything.

SPARC ↗

Not a league

The desk is independent from every indexed competition, operator and manufacturer. No competition pays to be listed, and none can ask to be removed from the record.

Not a betting product

Nothing here accepts money, takes a stake or offers odds. The desk publishes records and sources; what you do with them is your business.

Found something wrong?
That is useful.

The fastest way to improve this index is to point at a record that is incomplete, outdated or simply false — with a source. Event organisers, builders and broadcasters can also submit results and rulebooks for indexing. Contact the desk ↗ or read the full sourcing methodology ↗.
